• Case study 1:

Wokingham Regimental Sergeant Majors AGM

Here Butler & Brown were hired to spice up the Wokingham Regimental Sergeants’ Annual General Meeting. Full of a committee of ex-RSM’s, men aged 40-70, Butler & Brown were supplied a short script full of ‘in jokes’ & comical references to make a surprise appearance at their evening meal.

As the RSM’s sat at their candlelight dinner Butler & Brown, having been given the queue, burst their way in, kitted in their ‘Safari Outfits’ adapted slightly to suit the ‘army look’.

Here B&B delivered their script with a touch of improvisation to spice off the moment, then made a straight exit. The RSM’s related to the specific ‘in-jokes’ & references and responded loudly and actively.

Then when they had retired to the bar, Butler & Brown socialized with the men performing close-up magic which were received with high-spirits and enthusiasm.

Great reports were forwarded to Butler & Brown with completion of the event.

 

• Case Study 2:

British Film Institute - Christmas Party

Butler & Brown greeted the guests as they arrived so that the theme would be set straight away. Once all the guests were met, they were left alone for a time to socialize and become accustomed to their new surroundings. After a short while Butler & Brown appeared amongst the guests and began to interact with their ‘new chums’ by way of close-up magic and comic banter.

Then the evening meal was served and Butler & Brown helped to escort people through to the dining area, which was served in two sittings. Here they left the guests to enjoy their meals.

When dinner was over and everybody had returned to the dance floor, Butler & Brown returned to their magic and shinnanigans and encouraged people to dance.

Here they fluttered in and out, until a raffle was called, which they agreed to host.

After more dancing and a drop more magic, the jolly pair said their cheerios and disappeared into the night!
