Barnstable Brown - Timothy Payne

Timothy Payne is one of the leading walkabout entertainers in the UK today. Trained in Drama in Bath in 1997. After running a small-scale touring Theatre Company for a year, with a college from the course, he ventured further afield and has consistently worked as Actor in Cabaret, Street Theatre, and Comedy Improv. up and down the country.

Earning his reputation as an energetic, physical, comic performer, he has gained experience with a host of theatre companies, taking him to all ends of the UK.

In 1998 he fell upon family theme park, Legoland Windsor and was instantly catapulted into the ‘Castle Atmosphere Performers’ and ‘The Harbour Stunt Show’, as sporty Presenter Max Octane. In 1999 he’s toured Butlins’ New Holiday Resorts with street style cabaret acts, where Butler & Brown first began their early ventures! Alongside this Tim’s appeared in a whole range of corporate & publicity events working with the colourful London based agency ‘Ministry of Fun’ and has also recorded a variety of voiceovers. Then Butler & Brown took off and in 2000 they gained the contract for restaurant entertainment at Legoland Windsor. He now he says he is committed to the development and futherment of Butler & Brown and believes that they have the formula to confuse nature and take over the world!

 

Bob Butler

Richard Alan graduated from Birmingham School of Speech and Drama in 1995, and has since worked non-stop in Family Entertainment as Actor, Magician and Storyteller.

From his hometown of Southhampton, he has travelled the width of the country with a range of theatre companies and taken on a host of characters and styles.

Serving 3 years at family theme park Legoland Windsor, he has gained an abundance of interactive skills and leadership abilities. In 1998 Richard toured UK art centers and schools with his one-man storytelling shows, as ‘Earthmire Jones.’ Alongside this he’s puppetered, narrated, hosted events and recorded voiceovers.

In 1999 he toured Butlins’ New Holiday Resorts’ with street style cabaret acts, where the seeds of Butler and Brown were sown, working with colourful London based agency ‘Ministry of Fun’. Then in 2000 Butler & Brown were given the contract for the restaurant entertainment at Legoland Windsor, Family Theme Park. Since then he has been cultivating and performing Butler & Brown nationally and is determined to pursue his career in comedy entertainment to its bitter end!
